Amazing Georgian mourning ring with seed pearls circa the late 1800's with a center crystal display window which has a tiny piece of hair inside (for a loved one that passed away). The crystal is a bit scratched (price reflects) so it's tough to see the hair except under magnification. Back is closed as was typical of Georgian jewelry. Beautiful design with ornate detailing around entire band. In the back on the outside of the band there is a tiny section with some engraving I can't make out, it may have been added later to size the piece. Would be hard to size this further since it's got a pattern all the way around. No markings, but sold to me as 15k gold or higher. Ring size = 5.25.
