Gorgeous Fede Gimmel ring that has a surprise! Clasped hands open to reveal a small heart. These rings were often used as betrothal rings in early 17th century. Fede Gimmel stands for trust and fidelity. Ring size = 575. Middle band stamped with some markings and tested for sterling. Very oxidized from age.
