Nouveau Mermaid Locket - Gold Filled - Antique

Stunning rare Nouveau locket with a lady that looks to be a mermaid by the fish and fin ornamentation. Locket is a wonderful rare shape as well.  Has engraved initials on the back and both frames present (though one is pretty damaged and other is bent as well.  Locket has a bit of wear but also a lot of life left in it.  Has a yellow gold hue and chain is more of a rosy gold.  Stamped S.G. and Co.  Locket closes well but does have a bit of a gap when closed.

Locket measures approx 1.25 inches (a little more with loop above.  Chain measures approx 16 inches.
